Forming Relationships in the New Normal (Panel Discussion)
A discussion on business development trends, the future of relationships in a post COVID-19 environment, and the changing dynamic between GPs and LPs.
Last week, Novus participated on a panel with Preqin, Baker McKenzie, Campbell Lutyens, Deloitte, and Investec. The panel was hosted by Preqin (source).
Representatives covered the following topics:
- Cultivating relationships in a COVID world
- The power struggle between GPs and LPs
- Business development in a post-Covid world
- Fee pressure trends in a post-Covid world
As we've settled into our new normal here at Novus—with employees working remote across six timezones—it's been easy to see the silver linings of these tumultuous times. On the product / innovation front, our team has had the most productive year in recent memory. We've also continued welcoming new clients, thanks to a product whose relevance has been made more acute by market uncertainty.
As the world gets more accustomed to interacting remotely, many of us are wondering if there's any sense in ever returning to our pre-COVID travel itinerary. Lucky for us in the digital space, relationship building has been able to adapt, and even thrive, during COVID-19.
Novus is committed to empowering investors as they navigate these unprecedented times. Let us know how we can help.
