Novus was founded on a simple principle; fundamental research is critical to the decision making process of alternative investors. With that in mind the Novus team set out to help alternative investors make better decisions by providing them with the data and analysis they need to conduct fundamental research.

Basil is a Founder and Managing Partner of Novus Partners. Before forming Novus Partners, Basil worked in Ivy Asset Management's Investments Group, where he was part of a team that managed over $6 billion in long short equity investments. Basil also worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he focused on tax-exempt high yield securities and was part of a team managing over $60 billion. Prior to Merrill, Basil founded Callscribe, a financial services company providing summaries on quarterly earnings calls to the alternative investment industry. Basil holds a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
RISHI KHANNA

Rishi is a Founder and Managing Partner of Novus Partners. Before forming Novus Partners, Rishi was responsible for the development of Gerson Lehrman Group's technology and product platforms. Prior to Gerson Lehrman Group, Rishi worked at Neovision Hypersystems, Inc., where he focused on building out their web products for information visualization. Rishi holds a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University.
STAN ALTSHULLER

Stan is a Founder and Managing Partner of Novus Partners. Before forming Novus Partners, Stan worked in Ivy Asset Management's Portfolio Management Group, where he was part of a team responsible for constructing, monitoring and managing all of Ivy's portfolios. Prior to Ivy Asset Management, Stan worked at Lyster Watson & Co., where he was responsible for quantitative analysis, manager screening and portfolio modeling. Stan holds a BS in Mathematics and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University.
